'Spanish Cowboy' is the first single and music video release from CINEASTE, the forthcoming digital album by multi-award winning Sydney-based composer, Andrée Greenwell. The album is mastered by Hugo Race, who has collaborated over the years on several projects with Greenwell, and will be fully released on his Helixed label in May, 2021.

Greenwell originally composed Spanish Cowboy for the feature film, ‘Home: a Documentary of an American Town’, prod/dir/shot by Anne-Marie Hess (USA, 2004). The film is about the farming and oil communities of Refugio: TX, where Hess grew up. The title of this track is after the cowboy Jose Alejandro DeLaGarza, whose family was originally from Spain, and features in this clip, re-edited by James Manché of footage from Hess's film.
